NCLL Holds Invasive Species Workshop

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold a workshop on invasive species from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in room 101B of the NMU Superior Dome.

            Renee Leow, administrator of the Marquette County Conservation District, will teach participants how to identify and properly remove invasive species that are a cause of concern in Marquette County. Participants will received hands-on experience in identifying and removing invasive species, weather permitting.

            There is no fee for NCLL members, and a $5 fee for non-members. Register by Monday, June 9, by calling 227-2979.
