MARQUETTE, Mich.-Cody Anderson of Gladstone, Mich. is the recipient of the John Karageorge Memorial Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

To qualify for the scholarship students must be a junior of senior enrolled in the pre-med program with a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. Preference is given to applicants from the Upper Peninsula.

The John Karageorge Memorial Scholarship was established in 1988 by family and friends in memory of John Karageorge.
