LaLonde Receives NMU Scholarship

MARQUETTE, Mich.- Alyssa LaLonde of Rapid River is the recipient of the Burton G. Frick Business Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.
To qualify for the scholarship students must a junior pursuing a degree in the Walker L. Cisler College of Business with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference is given to students from the Chicago area or residents of the Upper Peninsula.
The Burton G. Frick Business Scholarship was established in 2001 by NMU alum John B. Frick and Eric, Anne and Robert Frick. Burton Frick, a businessman from the Chicago area, was a long-time admirer of and visitor of the Upper Peninsula.
