Kienitz Receives NMU Scholarship

MARQUETTE, Mich.- Michelle Kienitz of Menominee is the recipient of the Dr. George Carnahan Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.
To be eligible for the scholarship students must be sophomore standing or higher and pursuing a degree in management with a minimum GPA of 3.25. Preference is given to students demonstrating a concern for social problems by involvement in socially-related activities at the university or community.
The Dr. George Carnahan Scholarship was established in 2003 by formers students of retiring professor Dr. George Carnahan. It was initiated by Joe Prinzi ’70.
