MARQUETTE, Mich.- Jacob Schramm of Munising is the recipient of the Hinda Cunningham Music Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

To qualify for the scholarship students must be a freshman majoring in music or music education. First preference is given to graduates of an Upper Peninsula high school.  

The Hinda Cunningham Music Scholarship was established in July 1999 by Hinda (Cunningham) Westphal and Frederick Westphal in honor of Hinda (Cunningham) Westphal.
