MARQUETTE, Mich.- Jacob Barnby of Onaway is the recipient of the Marcella Beaumier Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

To qualify for the scholarship students must be a music major with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

The Marcella Beaumier Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 by John Beaumier, brother of Marcella Beaumier.
