MARQUETTE, Mich. – Rachel Pascoe of Ishpeming is the recipient of the George and Evelyn Kivela Endowed Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

            Selection was based on education majors who graduated from an Upper Peninsula high school with good academic standing.

The George and Evelyn Kivela Endowed Scholarship was established in December 2000 by George P. Kivela, 1946 Northern Michigan University graduate.
