MARQUETTE, Mich. – Elisabeth Underwood of Skandia is the recipient of the Johana Linder Winkler Scholarship at Northern Michigan University for the 2014-2015 academic year.

            Selection was based on Upper Peninsula high school graduates with a 2.75 grade point average. First priority is given to applicants who are pursuing a degree in industrial technologies or a comparable academic program.

The Johanna Linder Winkler Scholarship was established by Herman G. Schumacher, grandson of Johana Linder Winkler.
