MARQUETTE, Mich.— A family friendly pre-game party will be held before the puck drops for the Northern Michigan University and Michigan Technological University hockey game at NMU on Saturday, March 7. Alumni and friends of both schools, along with the general public, are invited to attend. The party will be held from 5-7 p.m. in Vandament Arena.

The event will feature games for the kids, door prizes and appearances by both teams’ players and mascots. Food and drinks will be offered, including craft beer from the Keweenaw and Marquette that will be available for purchase. Both schools will be giving away spirit gear and 100.3 The Point will provide music.

Tickets are available at all NMU EZ Ticket outlets, by calling 227-1032 or online at www.nmu.edu/tickets. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. The event is co-hosted by the NMU and MTU Alumni Associations.

Alumni elsewhere need only an Internet connection to watch the game live via America One Sports Online or listen to the streaming radio play-by-play on 100.3 FM The Point.
