NCLL Presents Outboard Motor History

The history of the outboard motor will be the focus of an upcoming Northern Center for Lifelong Learning program on Thursday, July 30. Tom Evinrude, whose grandfather Ole was the founder of the “Evinrude Outboard Motor,” will share details of its development and the many twists and turns along the evolutionary journey of the motor.
This event will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at Peter White Public Library. The fee is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for others. Register by Wednesday, July 22, by calling 227-2979.
