Wednesday 26, 2015

Editors: Please note the Sept. 2 registration deadline

MARQUETTE – Archaeology is more than the recovery of artifacts such as pottery, beads and tools that are often exhibited in museums. In an upcoming Northern Center for Lifelong Learning program, Marla Buckmaster will discuss what archaeologists learn from additional sources found during field experiences. Buckmaster is a Northern Michigan University professor emeritus and led students on many archaeological expeditions.

This program will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, in room 122 of the Jacobetti Center. It will cost $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register by Sept. 2 by calling 227-2979.
