Northern Michigan University's Winterfest celebration will include a free open skate for campus and community members. The event is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Berry Events Center. Participants can join Wildcat Willy and NMU athletes on the ice. There will also be music by Double Trouble DJs and a photo booth. Skate rentals are free, but it is highly recommended that attendees bring their own, if possible.
