NCLL Addresses Climate Change

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation on outcomes of the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, also known as COP21, as well as Michigan-specific climate issues. John Forslin, one of 8,000 presenters worldwide trained by the Climate Reality Project, will give the talk at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in room 101B of the Superior Dome. 

The Paris Climate Conference concluded with 187 countries signing on to a coordinated global effort to limit global warming. Forslin will discuss the goals and prospects for long-term success. He will also present a brief summary of current publications and research on climate change issues for Michigan.

This event will cost $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non members. Register before March 11 by calling 227-2979.
