Author Steven Church will give a reading at Northern Michigan University as part of the Visiting Writers Series. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10, in the Marquette/Nicolet Rooms of the University Center. It is free and open to the public. 

Church’s writings include The Guinness Book of Me: a Memoir of Record, Theoretical Killings: Essays and Accidents, The Day After The Day After: My Atomic Angst and, most recently, a collection of essays titled Ultrasonic. His fifth book will be released in Fall 2016. Church is a founding editor and nonfiction editor for The Normal School. He serves as the Hallowell Professor of Creative Writing at Fresno State.
