NMU Screens Polish Film 'Ida'

Northern Michigan University will hold a screening of the Polish film Ida, the 2015 Academy Award winner for best foreign language film, at 7 p.m. Monday, March 14 in Jamrich 1322. Admission is free.
The film tells the story of a young nun in 1960s Poland who discovers a family secret from the years of the Nazi German occupation. She embarks on a journey to uncover the mystery of her own past. Directed by Pawel Pawlikowski, the film won festival awards in addition to the Oscar.
