Northern Arts & Entertainment will present a concert featuring the groups Papadosio and The Werks on Thursday, April 7. The event begins at 7 p.m. in Vandament Arena at Northern Michigan University. Local band Almost Canada will open the show.

Papadosio recently self-released its fourth full-length studio recording, "Extras in a Movie." The group reveals a "cinematic cornucopia of sounds: orchestral, electronic, organic, acoustic, psychedelic and celestial." The Werks incorporates rock, vintage psychedelic, funk and jamtronica into its own musical form, called "psychedelic dance rock."
