NMU Showcases Student Research, Creativity

Northern Michigan University's 21st annual Celebration of Student Research, Creative Works and Academic Service Learning will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Jamrich Hall.

The opening ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in Jamrich 1320, where winners of the poster competition and Technology Innovation Award will be announced. Oral presentations will be delivered in the same location. A full schedule is available at www.nmu.edu/studentcelebration. Posters and visual media will be displayed all day in the first-floor lobbies.

The celebration allows students from all disciplines to share their work, which includes research, scholarly activity, visual and performance art, service learning projects and other creative works.  

This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the day in Jamrich 1320 for oral presentation attendees. Questions should be directed to rschcelb@nmu.edu or to Heather Pickett with the NMU McNair Scholars Program at 227-2538.
