NMU Senior Art Exhibit Opens

Northern Michigan University’s DeVos Art Museum is hosting an exhibition of graduating seniors’ work. A closing reception will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 29.

Seniors will present work from all areas of the School of Art and Design. These include: ceramics; computer art; drawing and painting; digital cinema; furniture design; graphic communication; human-centered design; illustration; jewelry, metals and blacksmithing; photography; printmaking; sculpture; and woodworking. Participating students installed the pieces featured in the exhibition.

Admission to the Devos Art Museum is free. Hours of operation are: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Friday; noon to 8 p.m. Thursday; and 1-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
