The annual Children’s Art Exhibition is on display through May 22 at Northern Michigan University's DeVos Art Museum. A reception is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 13.

The exhibition celebrates creativity in the local schools, area art programs, teachers and young artists. Participating schools include: Autrain-Onota; Father Marquette; Gwinn Area Community Schools; Ishpeming; Marquette; Negaunee; NICE Community School District; North Star Academy; and Powell Township School District.

Admission is free. The DeVos Art Museum hours are: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Wednesday and Friday; noon to 8 p.m. Thursday; and 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
