NMU Offers Summer Cyber Camp
Northern Michigan University is hosting a Cyber Camp for high school-age students from 1-4 p.m. Monday, July 18, through Friday, July 22. Students will participate in a hands-on, challenge-based introduction to computer coding, programming and creating through technology. Topics will include basic programming, basic cryptography, basic networking, hands-on router configuration, different types of cyber security matters and app development. No previous computer programming experience is required.
NMU’s Seaborg Center and the Mathematics and Computer Science Department are coordinating the camp, which focuses on reinventing and re-imagining the role computers play in human life.
