NMU Hosts College Fair
Northern Michigan University will host a College Fair from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Jacobetti Complex. The program will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. and is open to all high school juniors, seniors and their parents.
Representatives from about 40 colleges and universities, including several out-of-state schools, will be present to answer questions about their academic programs, costs, support services and campus life. A number of representatives from the Armed Forces and ROTC Programs will also be in attendance. NMU financial aid representatives will be available to answer questions about the financial aid process.
New this year is the ability of students to pre-register for the event online. By pre-registering. students will only have to input their information once and be able to share personal information with multiple college reps by scanning a barcode. Students can get more information from heir guidance counselor about this process.
High schools participating are Superior Central, Gwinn, Ishpeming, NICE, Marquette, Munising, Negaunee, Burt Township, and Republic-Michigamme.
