Workplace Motivation Topic of NMU Seminar

Northern Michigan University’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development office will host its second annual Learning to Lead Seminar on Friday, Feb. 17. The focus of this year’s event is motivation in the workplace.

Featured presenters are: Kimberly Maki of Bright House Networks; Jeff Olson, Ishpeming High School football coach and teacher; Andy Langlois and David Manson, co-founders of Blackrocks Brewery; Debra Lamere of Goodwill Industries and HR Consulting; and Tori Sager, co-founder of the Fellow Flowers running community.

The Learning to Lead seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. Registration is $150, which includes lunch. For more information and to register, visit nmu.edu/ce.
