Beaumier Coffee House Series Concert Feb. 4

Traditional blues trio Harp, Hart and Bones and the "folk revival" duo Bedrooms and Basements will perform at the next Beaumier Coffee House Series concert at Northern Michigan University. The performance will take place from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in the Peter White Lounge of the University Center.

The instrumentation of Harp, Hart and Bones consists of harmonica and slide guitar played by ‘Fast Eddie’ Consolmagno, resonator guitar by ‘Cousin’ Bill Hart and snare drum with brushes by Dave Aho, who will be performing in place of Randy ‘da Bones Man’ Seppala. The band’s style is influenced by ragtime and jazz.

Bedrooms and Basements is a duo native to Marquette. Taylor Martin will perform lead vocals and guitar while Sam Graves will perform mandolin, violin, guitar and vocals. They describe their genre of music as acoustic and indie.
