NMU Announces Presidential Scholars Competition Winners

Northern Michigan University has announced the results of its Presidential Scholars Competition. NMU annually invites academically talented high school seniors to compete for the Harden Scholarship, which covers full tuition, room and board; and the Presidential Scholarship, which covers full tuition. Both are awarded over eight consecutive semesters.

Students who will receive the Harden Scholarship when they enroll at NMU for the fall 2017 semester are:

Michigan

Boyne Falls: Elizabeth Mansfield, Boyne City High School;

Perry: Katrina Elzinga, DeWitt High School

Royal Oak: Alexandru Niculescu, Royal Oak High School;

Wyoming: Elijah Bieri, Grandville High School;

Illinois

Crystal Lake: Ryan Tucker, Prairie Ridge High School

Forest Park: Emma Drever, Fenwick High School

Lake Forest: Mariah Goeks, Lake Forest High School

Wheaton: Amanda Joslyn, Wheaton-Warrenville High School South

Wisconsin

Cornucopia: Yrsala Peterson, Bayfield High School

South Range: Veronica Line, Northwestern High School
