Provost's Message: Nominations for SRA Task Forces Due Feb. 9

Monday 6, 2017

Nominations are being accepted for the academic and support task forces that will make resource allocation recommendations as part of the Planning for Distinction process. Faculty, staff, department heads and mid-level managers are eligible, provided they can attend two or three days of training scheduled Feb. 21-23. Fifteen to 20 individuals will be needed for each task force to ensure appropriate diversity. To nominate someone, click here. For more information on Planning for Distinction, click here

Below is a message from Provost Kerri Schuiling:

Dear Campus Community:

A very sincere thank you to all who were able to attend the campus forums on Strategic Resource Allocation led by our consultant, Larry Goldstein. We were told by Mr. Goldstein that it was one of the largest turnouts (for a campus of our size) that he has had. To him this suggests considerable interest in making sure the process is followed. There were excellent questions at the end of each session and I am also very appreciative that two of our BOT members attended sessions. If you were not able to make it to a session we have a recording of one that can be found here: http://bit.ly/2kAptC6. And it is posted on the SRA website: Planning for Distinction.

We are accepting nominations now for the two task forces: Support TF and Academic TF. Please consider nominating yourself or another colleague. The nominations are due at noon Thursday, Feb. 9.

Thank you again as we move our campus assessment process forward.

With kind regards,

Kerri D. Schuiling, PhD, CNM, FACNM, FAAN
