NMU Percussion Ensemble Performs Sunday

The Northern Michigan University Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of James A. Strain, will present its spring chamber music concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 9, in Reynolds Recital Hall. There is no admission charge.
The ensemble is composed of students who perform on various drums, vibes, marimbas, xylophones, timpani, hands and even paper bags. The concert features selections by 20th and 21st century North and South American composers, with musical styles ranging from ragtime to samba.
