Students from Alcovy High School in Georgia recently visited NMU. They are in the school's Teaching as a Profession program established by NMU alumnus Richard Cormier ('92 BS). He formed a distance education partnership with his alma mater, using teleconferencing technology to connect his students with NMU education majors to discuss topics related to teaching.
