NCLL Offers 'Land Down Under' Program

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a program titled “The Land Down Under: It’s Animals & Culture” from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Room 101B of the Superior Dome.

NCLL members Zane and Carole Bard will present about U.S. and Australian history, Aboriginal and British Culture and how the Aussies handle education and medical care in the Outback. Attendees will also see Tasmanian devils, wombats, koalas, duckbilled platypus, echidna and kangaroos. 

The cost is $3 for NCLL members and $8 for non-members. Register by Friday, Oct. 20, by calling 227-2979. For more information, contact Caroline Jordan at 228-9953.
