The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host its “Woodworker Rally III” event from 8 a.m. to noon Mondays between Jan. 22-Feb. 26 in room 137 of NMU’s Jacobetti Center.
Sam Carey will instruct the six sessions. Carey will demonstrate and describe tool uses, skills, safety, finishing techniques and also some tricks of the trade to use in building a piece. Instruction and use of the various tools and machinery in the NMU wood shop is included, but participants must provide their own plans and materials.
