Digneit to Present at URTA in Chicago
Bill Digneit, NMU director of theater, is featured in a Live Design International (LDI) online article for two sessions he will present at the University Resident Theatre Association's winter meetings Jan. 26 in Chicago. Digneit serves as production director for the annual professional training program at the LDI trade show.
The two sessions are titled "LDI: Take Your Career Beyond Backstage—Finding Technical Careers Outside of the Theater" and "LDI: Help Your Students Think Outside of the Box—Technical Careers Outside of the Theater."
“These sessions are like two sides of the coin,” said Digneit in the story. “The morning session is focused on the student trying to push their career options and the evening session is geared toward the professor knowing how to educate students about these options.”
Digneit received his bachelor’s degree in theater and entertainment arts from NMU. He obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree in technical production and design from Florida State University. See the full LDI story here.
