NCLL Offers Program on Strokes

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a presentation titled “Strokes – Brain Trauma.” It will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, in room 101B of the Northern Michigan University Superior Dome.

Roxanne Filizetti, certified neuroscience registered nurse, and Erica O’Brien, stroke coordinator and nurse, will host a medical presentation pertaining to strokes. They will talk about prevention measures, symptoms, causes, brain damage, areas of the body that strokes affects, treatments, hospital care and what to expect when leaving the hospital.
