Wednesday 7, 2018
An exhibition titled “Industrial Revolution” by NMU alumna Kathleen Conover (’83 MFA) opened March 2 at the Customs House Museum in Clarksville, Tenn. She said the series of paintings represents her interpretation of the impact of evolving worldwide technological and manufacturing industries on the United States. "Inspiration and visual references abound from my iron mining home on Lake Superior in northern Michigan, through the farming heartland to the desert Southwest, and from coast to coast,” she said. Conover is the latest talented female artist featured by Customs House Museum during Women’s History Month. The exhibit runs through May 2.
