Northern Michigan University’s Gonzo Media student organization will host a screening of “Weekend” at 9 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in 165 Art and Design. “Weekend” tells the story of a married couple on a weekend trip to the countryside to visit the wife’s dying father. The couple intended on securing the inheritance, resorting to murder if necessary. The trip turns into a nightmare of accidents, terrorism and civil war.

The movie is rated R and has a run time of 105 minutes. The event is free for NMU students and $1 for the public.
