How to Register for Courses

Join us as we walk through the online registration system. First, we'll find the registration tile in MyNMU (0:05). From there, we will search for a course (0:55), add a course to your schedule (1:50), and register by CRN (2:31).

How to Use Advanced Search and Drop a Course

Let's explore more of the registration system. We begin by using the wildcard (%) function (0:00), followed by utilizing the advanced search (2:16), searching for web courses (3:03), and dropping a course from your schedule (3:58).

To drop all courses in any given semester, please contact the Dean of Students Office.

How to Address Common Registration Errors

During this tutorial, we show a few of the common errors you may face when trying to register for courses. We start by discussing how to waitlist a course (0:00) and go on to explore Time Conflict errors (1:39), Linked Course errors (2:52), and Reserved Closed (FYE) errors (3:39).

How to Find General Education and Graduation Requirements

We then proceed and explore each of the four Graduation Requirements: Laboratory Science (LAB) (4:34), Global Citizenship (GCIT) (4:43), English Competency (COMP) (5:14), and Mathematics Competency (MATH) (5:49).
