Licensed Cosmetology Instructor Scholarship Application

Northern Michigan University’s Cosmetology program houses a one-semester Licensed Cosmetology Instructor training program. Is it time for a new challenge? Have you ever considered turning your knowledge and experience into a career in education? The Licensed Cosmetology Instructor program will have you ready to lead students by this December.

Only Licensed Cosmetologists with three or more years of industry experience are eligible. Candidates must have a current license with the State of Michigan.

Scholarship is for fulltime enrollment only. Scholarship includes cost of sixteen Licensed Cosmetology Instructor credits.

Successful scholarship award recipients will be required to instruct two courses in NMU's Cosmetology program as arranged with the Dean of the College of Technology and Occupational Sciences.

Recreation Pass: $85 per semester (refundable through 5th day of semester)
Green Fund Fee: $5 per semester (refundable through 5th day of semester)
Student Athletic Event Fee: $265 (one time fee)
