Ross Christensen
Instructor of Technology and Occupational Sciences
Ross Christensen has worked in the HVAC/R field for 27 years. Ross graduated from Northern Michigan University in 1996 with an Associate Degree in Climate Control Technology. In 1997, he was accepted into the Upper Peninsula Plumbers & Pipefitters, U.A. Local 111 apprenticeship training school which he graduated from in September 2000. Ross has worked as an installer and an HVAC/R service technician for various union mechanical contractors in the Marquette area. In 2005, he began working at NMU as an HVAC Specialist for NMU Plant Operations. Ross is 608 EPA Universally Certified and is a Michigan Licensed Master Plumber, Michigan Licensed Mechanical Contractor, and Michigan Licensed Boiler Installer (2B). He is a UA Journeyman Pipefitter and is UA Star Certified in HVAC/R Service.
Ross lives in Marquette with his wife, Jamie, and their two children, Clara and Jacob.
