The Cannabis Operations and Plant-Based Wellness (COPBW) program is designed using a flexible, modular structure that allows you to tailor your education to your goals. Students may choose to pursue targeted certificate pathways for focused skill development or build toward a full academic degree over time. The Certificate Path (16 Credits)

No General Education Requirements
Certificates are designed as standalone credentials and do not require completion of general education or elective courses.

Timeline
Each certificate is structured for completion within approximately one academic year (about 30 weeks), typically across two 14-week semesters with scheduled breaks.

Course Load & Pacing
The Cannabis Operations and Plant-Based Wellness (CO-PBW) program is designed with working professionals in mind. The recommended course load is approximately 8 credits per semester, which generally corresponds to an estimated 16–32 hours per week of combined coursework and study time. Courses are offered in 8-week formats, allowing students to focus on one or two courses at a time rather than managing a full semester course load simultaneously.

 

The Degree Paths (Stackable)

Associate Degree: Earned by combining any two certificates + General Education and elective requirements.

Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS): Earned by completing all three certificates + General Education and elective requirements.
