Gary Brunswick
Professor - Marketing
Dr. Gary J. Brunswick holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Arizona State University, and currently holds the rank of Professor of Marketing at Northern Michigan University. His research interests include marketing strategy, services marketing and e-commerce. He also holds an MBA from Marquette University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and two undergraduate degrees from Northern Michigan University (Associate Degree, and Bachelor of Science - Summa Cum Laude).
Dr. Brunswick has received the Distinguished Faculty Award from NMU, as well as the Outstanding Young Alumni Award, along with several other teaching awards within the College of Business, including the MBA Program Professor of the Year Award. Dr. Brunswick also received the NMU Excellence in Teaching Award, and the NMU Students Choice Award. In addition to this, Dr. Brunswick was selected to be the commencement speaker for the December 2018 NMU Commencement Ceremonies.
In addition to teaching at NMU since the Fall of 1991, Dr. Brunswick has also taught courses in Marketing at universities in Finland and Germany over 8 different summers, and has engaged in a wide range of consulting activities.
He has published over 100 refereed journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, book reviews, consulting reports and other publications, and some of his work has appeared in over 15 different business and marketing journals, including two of the top journals in Marketing.
