Southern Illinois University Ph.D., is an assistant professor, Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), coordinator of the Master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis, and the director of NMU's Behavioral Education Assessment & Research (BEAR) center. His areas of research include language acquisition therapies for children with autism, the reduction of problematic and maladaptive behaviors, gambling and risk-taking behaviors, organizational behavior management, and the study of operant learning in invertebrate species. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with his two huskies.
