Amber LaCrosse, NMU B.S. 2008, M.S. 2010, Arizona State University Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor. Previous research experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Florida studying cocaine addiction, and a second postdoctoral fellowship studying brain cancer at Aurora Research Institute in Milwaukee, WI. Before joining the Department of Psychological Science, Amber directed the Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center at NMU. Her current research is focused on the impact of brain cancer and treatment on cognitive function and quality of life. Away from teaching and research, she enjoys swimming and hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
