Kara Shawbitz, Ohio State University Ph.D. Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral, and Michigan Licensed Behavior Analyst provides applied behavior analytic serves in the department's Behavior Education Assessment and Research (BEAR) Center and supervises practicum experiences for undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Shawbitz studies evidence-based training practices for staff and professionals working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and directs graduate-student capstone projects and thesis studies. In her limited free time, she enjoys trail running and going on hikes with her dog.
