Dead River Games
Sunday, Sept. 20 | 1 p.m. | Academic Mall
In the heart of campus, residence halls and student organizations will compete in one of Homecoming's longest traditions--Dead River Games. Consisting of lawn games such as mini golf, corn hole, ladder golf, the Dead River Games is an exciting and entertaining event for participants to compete for prizes.
Sidewalk Chalk Competition
Monday, Sept. 21 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Academic Mall
Taking place in the center of campus, the Sidewalk Chalk Competition is a chance for residence halls and student organizations to show their Wildcat Pride and create the best design corresponding with the Homecoming theme "All Things Michigan!"
ASNMU Scavenger Hunt
Tuesday, Sept. 22 | 6 p.m. | Pavilion by Spooner Hall
A collaborative informative event with the Associated Students of Northern Michigan University (ASNMU) to promote voter registration. Teams will compete for the fastest time. Stations will be set up throughout campus at NMU landmarks. Each station will inform students of the history of NMU and voter registration.
Homecoming Parade
Friday, Sept. 25 | 3-6 p.m. | Athletic Parking Lot
Everyone's favorite tradition - the Homecoming Parade with a twist! The parade will be a reverse parade - the residence halls and student organizations will be stationary in the PEIF parking lot (enter off of Presque Isle or Fair Ave.) and the student body and community can drive through to view their designs.
NMU Football vs. Davenport
Saturday, Sept. 21 | 1 p.m. | Superior Dome
The NMU Football game will be the grand finale of Homecoming week featuring the marching band. This is an event you won't want to miss!
Campus Cinema Movie: Twilight
Saturday, Sept. 26 | 7 p.m. | The Shoreline Theatre
Get your ticket at tickets.nmu.edu. If it rains, it will be moved to Jamrich 1100 at 6 p.m. Ticket holders and social media will be updated by noon on Saturday, Sept. 26.
