Dead River Games

Sunday, Sept. 26 | 1 p.m. | Clark Lambrose Park

Held at Clark Lambrose Park at the mouth of the Dead River, residence halls, club sports teams, and student organizations will compete in one of Homecoming's longest traditions--Dead River Games. Consisting of a series of relay races, this is an exciting and entertaining event for participants to compete for prizes. Spectators are welcome!

Sidewalk Chalk Competition

Tuesday, Sept. 28 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Academic Mall

Taking place in the center of campus, the Sidewalk Chalk Competition is a chance for residence halls, club sports, and student organizations to show their Wildcat Pride and create the best design corresponding with the Homecoming theme. 

Pre-Parade Party

Friday, Oct. 1 | 4 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. | Superior Dome

The golf carts are back! All registered residence halls, club sports teams, and student organizations will have valuable time to decorate their cart on theme with Homecoming 2021. Participating groups will be judged on parade day and are competing for cash prizes. 

Homecoming Parade

Saturday, Oct. 2 | 2:30 p.m. | Third Street

Everyone's favorite tradition - the Homecoming Parade! The parade route will be along third street. 

Tailgating Party

Saturday, Oct. 2 | 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. | Behind Superior Dome

Special game day menu by Dining Services (meal swipes). 

NMU Football vs. Wayne State

Saturday, Oct. 2 | 4 p.m. | Superior Dome

The NMU Football game will be the grand finale of Homecoming week featuring the marching band. This is an event you won't want to miss!
