What's Your One?

Pick One is a student engagement initiative that provides students with points and prizes for getting involved on campus. Get started in three easy steps:

  1. Download "The Hub" app on your mobile device
  2. Explore your options to get involved
  3. Attend Pick One events to earn points and be entered win prizes

On-Campus Employment

Engage in student employment during your studies, and you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience to include on your résumé, earn money to assist with educational and personal expenses, and develop a network of contacts including supervisors, co-workers and fellow students.

The best advice I can give anyone is to get involved. Simply joining a student organization led to employment opportunities on campus, allowing me to help produce some of the largest events on campus each semester. Through these events and projects, I've made invaluable connections, experiences, and memories during my time at NMU. In short, pick at least one thing to be involved in - you never know what it will lead to!
