For the 2021-2022 Academic Year; Before submitting documents to our office, please review your outstanding requirements in MyNMU.  Recent changes by the Department of Education have eliminated many documentation requirements.  Some students may find they have fewer documents which must be submitted to our office, and others may not have to submit any additional information.  You can find instructions on how to view the latest updates to your outstanding document requirements here:   nmu.edu/finaid/viewaid (under Check for Required Information).

  • Uploaded to your MyNMU Account
    • Upload your documents on your MYNMU using the steps below:
      • Log in to your MYNMU account with your NMU log in
      • Select Admitted to NMU or Student Services tab
      • Select Financial Aid-Information
      • Select NMU FA Document Upload under Financial Aid
  • Email to FAO@nmu.edu (Please do not send sensitive information, such as dates of birth or Social Security numbers, via email.)
  • Dropped off at the Financial Aid Office, 2107 C.B. Hedgcock
  • Faxed to 906-227-2321
  • Mailed to Financial Aid, Northern Michigan University, 1401 Presque Isle Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855
