If an organization wishes to set up an internship, our programs are always looking for affiliates, particularly those that can provide regular internships; it can be difficult to set up internships for a single student.

    • The employer will be responsible for providing a meaningful work experience for the student.  Skills the student possesses should be utilized by assignment to appropriate tasks. Supervision and guidance must be available to the student in a professional environment. A document outlining the job duties and level of supervision of the student is required for students applying for internship credit, and must be approved (along with the other documents submitted by the student as part of their application for internship credit) by the College of Business internship coordinator prior to student beginning the internship.

      The employer will sign bi-weekly status reports written by the student in order to verify their accuracy. We also accept company pay stubs (with personal information redacted like employee number or SSN) in lieu of signed timesheets to document current and cumulative worked hours.  At the end of the internship, the employer will complete an evaluation of the student, their performance and strengths and weaknesses of the academic program. The College of Business internship coordinator should be contacted in the event of problems that occur with the student.

We currently offer a variety of experiences for students that will help them to become a well-rounded professional in the field.
